• The Board held a brief executive session to discuss real estate situations.
• The Board approved a Developers Agreement between the RDA and WKS Restaurant LLC, concerning property development in the area of the currently closed Best Burger building.

• The council held a public hearing concerning, and eventually approved accepting the nonreciprocal interfund activity transfer of resources…(the accounting process for which one city fund pays another city fund for the city’s water usage)
• The council approved a final site plan and plat for Greenhill at Riverdale Apartments (former Valley West Apts. on 300 W)
• The council approved a rezone request for the land surrounding Classic Water Slides from A-1 (agricultural) to CP-3 (regional planned commercial).  CP-3 zones require that any use in the zone is conditional, and must be approved by the city.

• The council held a public hearing concerning, and eventually approved, a land exchange with the developers of the new Coleman Farms subdivision for the purpose of Ritter Drive improvements.
• The council approved a rezone for the former Valley West Apartments property.
• The council approved a rezone of vacant City/RDA property within the 550 West RDA area.
• The council approved the final site plan for the Coleman Farms Subdivision located on Ritter Drive.
• The council approved a change order for the 2016 street projects for $3754.00.

• The board held an executive session to discuss real estate matters in RDA areas.

LOOKING AHEAD:

There will be a special RDA Board meeting on 9-26-17 at 6:00 pm.  The Fire Department will host their annual Open House on 9-25-17 from 6pm-8pm.  There will be an Open House concerning updating and adjusting Ritter Drive on 9-28-17.  There will be City Council meetings on 10-3-17 and 10-17-17.  The RDA Board will meet on 10-17-17.  REMINDER: These monthly reports are only a brief summary (from my point of view) of our public meetings; you can always find more detailed information at riverdalecity.com.  These posts are also updated periodically as meetings take place during the month and new information and related links become available.
