Riverdale City is a great place to live and I’m proud to call it my hometown. I grew up here and there’s no other place that my wife and I would rather raise our family.
I’ve had a lifelong interest in the City’s prosperity and future. I was raised in Riverdale, attending Riverdale Elementary, T.H. Bell JHS and Bonneville HS. I’m a 6th-generation Riverdale resident. My ancestors were among the first merchants on Riverdale Road over 100 years ago.
While a teenager, I was part of the inaugural Riverdale Youth City Council program. Since the program was education and service-based, I spent time learning about different departments of the City and participating in community service projects.
From February 2014 until January 2016 I served on the city Planning Commission. I began serving on the City Council in January of 2016.
I married my sweetheart, Tiffani in 2004. Together we have a daughter, Elizabeth, and a son, Henrik.
I’ve been in the construction/building maintenance industry for 21 years. For the past 11 years I’ve worked in facilities maintenance for University of Utah Health. I’m now supervising facilities for the University Clinics North Service Delivery Area, headquartered at our Farmington Health Center at Farmington Station.
My hobbies include: watching my children grow and learn while enjoying life; they love the park and splash pad and traveling the river trail with the family, watching movies and sports, cooking BBQ, home improvement projects, learning about science (on a very amateur level), market research and investing and especially municipal politics!
I love Utah summers, especially the Old Glory Days festivities and Raspberry Days.
